Child Safety Policy: Zero-Tolerance for CSAE/CSAM
The Favorite app, developed by Marcio Degan, maintains a
zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and all forms of child
sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are deeply committed to protecting our users and
strictly prohibit the creation, production, sharing, distribution, or promotion of any
material depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of children on our platform.
User Safety and Age Requirement
The Favorite app is designed for adults. All users must be 18 years of age or older to
register and use the service. We urge users to follow all personal safety guidelines when meeting people in
the physical world.
Reporting and Enforcement
We are legally and morally obligated to enforce this zero-tolerance standard:
- Immediate Ban: Any user found violating this policy will be immediately and permanently banned from the Favorite app.
- Mandatory Reporting: We will report all instances of CSAM/CSAE to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies.
- Monitoring: We actively use monitoring tools and rely on user reports to quickly identify and address violations.
In-App Reporting Mechanism
The Favorite app provides users with simple, accessible tools to report content or behavior that violates this policy.
How to Report
-
Profile Reports: To report a specific profile that you find concerning, navigate to that user's screen and tap the three-dot icon (⋯) located in the top right corner. This action will bring up the reporting menu.
-
General Reports & Support: For general policy concerns, feedback, or support inquiries, navigate to Profile » Support & Feedback within the app and use the dedicated reporting feature.
Our dedicated safety team actively monitors these reports and takes appropriate action as outlined above.
